Heartland Insurance Agency has been in the crop-insurance business since 1992. We are very proud to represent John Deere Risk Protection and have obtained the distinction of becoming a Certified Crop Insurance Agent. This certification involves extensive training in risk assessment, using GPS for crop insurance reporting, marketing and crop record keeping.
Crop Insurance Products:
- MPCI- Multiple Peril Crop Insurance is available in varying levels of coverage to providea source of guaranteed income when there is a production loss.
- CRC- Crop Revenue Coverage protects against lost revenue caused by low prices, low yields, or any combination of the two.
- Crop Hail- Crop Hail coverage gives you acre by acre protection up to the actual cash value of the crop.
- IP- Income Protection is an insurance plan that protects against reductions in gross income when yields or prices fall.
- Group Risk Plan- Group Risk Plan is designed as a risk management tool to insure against widespread loss of production of the insured crop in a county.
- Group Risk Income Protection- GRIP is designed to insure against county loss of expected revenue.
- Revenue Assurance- Revenue Assurance protects against low revenue caused by low prices or low yields, or a combination of both.
